My parents have taken my son for the weekend, so I can clean my house and various before my husband goes out of town next week for 5 days. As I am writing this, I am overwhelmed by the "free" time and all the things I have to do that I decided to procrastinate and right this post.
List of things to do today:
- Clean kitchen Husband started
- Do laundry and put it away Working on it
- Dispose of the Freaking clutter Almost Done
Update baby proofing (Monkey's reach is now out of hand) Done
- Dust & vacuum Living Room Done, Rest of House to go
Change crib sheets Done
- Finish book, so I will stop wracking up late fees at library Working on it
Totally, hoping to get at least a few of those items accomplished. Really, all I want to do is read my book and get my toes done. Oh well, life will go on and I will be happy to have a clean house, even if it is only until my child gets home.
Well, as you can see, I am checking items off my list. Loving the sense of accomplishment.

Dani -- What I would do: Do one thing on the list. Then, read my book and get my toes done! Next day, do another thing on the list. Then go out for lunch. Or a long walk. Call a close girlfriend without any time constraint to be off the phone. Take a nap. It's so hard, I know, but the guilt quickly passes, and I always feel a zillion times more refreshed by the time they get home. Which makes everyone happier, at least at my house. Regardless, I hope the time, however you spend it, passes well.
Hi,
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog at www.wearegoodkin.com
I left you a comment back there - but am not sure you will get it?
How old is your son and what signs are you doing?
I like your blog :)
